When I was 30 I had spent many years in the sun without protection. I developed skin cancer on my nose. I had to have it burnt off and never wanted to experience that again. That led me to create my own Skin Saver.
No, I do not know the SPF, all I know is I used ingredients that have natural SPF inside them. Coconut oil, has an SPF of 4-5, Shea butter has an SPF of 6-10. I use Lavender infused Organic Extra virgin olive oil because it is a wonderful soothing emollient and helps to prevent sun damage, I then add organic coconut oil, shea butter, local beeswax, carrot seed oil and non-nano Zinc oxide.
I just love the way it glides on my skin. I use it as a daily moisturizer on my face and neck and when I am outside or at the beach, I cover all my bare skin with it. My own personal testimonial is when I went to the ocean, I did not think to put it on my back but did everywhere else. I burned at the beach that day on my back only.
At my local farmer’s markets, women were calling me to be sure they stocked up before I made my trip north last year. I was amazed at the following it was getting. Women who use it under their makeup every day, were receiving compliments on how nice their skin looks, and even my daughter in law uses it daily for her face.
